This training thoroughly examines: the types, causes, symptoms, triggers, prevention, de-escalation, containment, and positive management, of workplace conflict/aggression.


The key objectives of this program are to promote both positive workplace conflict resolution and consistently excellent people management skills.

  • An understanding of how their own attitudes may impact on their ability to manage conflict and aggression
  • Knowledge of the appropriate remedial action if confronted with workplace conflict or aggression
  • Knowledge to apply the psychological mindset needed to effectively deal with conflict, anger, or aggression - pre, during, and post, critical incidents
  • Enhanced professional service when communicating with staff, clients, members of the public generally, and with irate or conflicting staff, clients, members of the public specifically
